Thematic day in Iceland 2012

NordGen's next thematic day "Tree seed sources and supplies for Iceland – current situation and future alternatives" will take place in Hotel Örk, Hveragerði, Iceland, 6th of November 2012.

Among the topics:

Current and future seed sources for afforestation
The application of tree breeding programs
The possible impacts of climate change
Seed bank issues

Chairman will be Jon Geir Petursson from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources.

Registration: Registration deadline is 31 October. For participants who register before this date coffe and lunch is free. For later registration there will be a fee of ISK 3000 kr. Send your registration to Úlfur Óskarsson at ulfur@lbhi.is .
